This ring is inspired by the jagged shapes of Dartmoor, which is a hop skip and a jump from my studio. It is a chunky statement ring, but still lends itself to everyday wear, and is cast using the ancient technique of cuttlefish casting for a unique one-off effect like no other!
 
Each cuttlefish bone is hand carved to form a mould for silver to be poured into, and since each mould can only be used once this makes each casting completely unique. This is why the textures on each piece are slightly different.
